Decisions Made

• Used document.createElement mock to test download functionality without DOM manipulation issues
• Converted hex colors to RGB format for inline style assertions (browser behavior)
• Mocked SplitGridSettingsModal as simple component to focus on modal open/close behavior

Deviations from Plan

None - plan executed exactly as written

Issues Encountered

• Initial download tests failed due to document.body.appendChild mock clearing DOM - resolved by mocking createElement instead
• Hex color assertions failed due to browser converting to RGB - resolved by using RGB format in assertions
